More than a half-century ago,
while surrounded by
the foothills, wildlife, beaches, and
scenic beauty of southern California,
I discovered my love of
writing, oratory, art, and music.
I found outlets for that creative energy,
in local communities,
as a writer-orator, choral singer,
dance leader, illustrator,
theatrical performer, cheer coach,
and music & arts student.
In my profession,
I am blessed to live and work in various places.
Many extraordinary people and experiences
enrich my life and inspire me
to live with dedication and purpose.

my lifelong passion and profession converged.
Apples & Spices was born.
I soon realized that
what I had regarded as my career
was merely the “boot camp”
that prepared me for this moment in time.
In 2013,
I retired from my profession in the private sector.
I, now, work to build community
by way of
charitable, philanthropic, and commercial projects.
